Hi,
I’m due to have complete thyroid removal in June as I have papillary thyroid cancer and I have just got my admissions letter through and it says I have a hepatobilary surgeon! I really want a thyroid specialist as I have read that this reduces the chance of complications hugely.
How do I find out what my other options are and whether there is anyone else who can do the operation?
I have no idea about this sort of thing as I'm only 24 and relatively new to all this!
